You may have noticed that medical schools in the UK can be quite different from each other. HYMS is a small, friendly medical school where students know each other well and have a close and supportive relationship with tutors and academic staff. We offer great patient-to-student ratios, and clinical experience is a real strength of the curriculum from the first weeks of your life as an undergraduate.
Our curriculum is integrated, focused around patients and clinical settings from the outset, and delivered in the first two years via problem-based learning. You'll work closely with the rest of your group and with committed, enthusiastic tutors, all of whom are experienced doctors and teachers.
