Anatomical and human sciences

Our researchers study the ways that humans, primates, other mammals and reptiles have evolved and how they relate to the environment.

As well as providing useful insights into our evolutionary past, our work is directly applicable to the study of modern biological variation. The advances in morphometrics that have arisen during this work also have important medical applications in functional studies and imaging.
