Research Office

Our researchers are supported by the HYMS Research Office, which is based at the University of York and in the Daisy Building at Castle Hill Hospital, Hull.

The Research Office provides HYMS researchers (both staff and students) with general support and advice on most research-related issues, including:

• funding sources
• regulatory requirements
• NHS and university research office contacts
• research proposal costs
• organising conferences
• statistical expertise
• health economics expertise
• disseminating research and related publicity

The office also maintains databases of staff publications and assists with the grant application and sign-off procedure.
