Andy teaches Physiology mainly to phase 1 students and acts as a substitute PBL tutor when required, as well as being involved in helping to train the PBL tutors and delivering some training to some of the Clinical Placement Tutors. He is also a course tutor on the HYMS Postgraduate Certificate of Medical Education.
His administrative role centres around responsibility for all the HYMS university-based timetabling, and assisting in the organisation/running of examinations at the York site. He is currently the Chair of the HYMS Health and Safety Committee.
Andy's research intersts lie in small group teaching and behavioural problems as well as widening participation.
