If you apply to HYMS and English is not your first language, or if our interviewers express concern about your English language skills, we may ask you to provide evidence of your English language ability. This may be any one of the following:
- IELTS overall score of 7.5, with a minimum of 7.0 in every component
- GCSE or IGCSE English language (as a first language) grade A
- IB score of 6 at standard level in English language (as a first language)
