HYMS holds five open days a year, during the open days of both our parent universities.
The upcoming open days in 2009-2010 are:

- Wednesday 7 July 2010 (at York)
- Saturday 10 July 2010 (at Hull)
- Tuesday 5 October 2010 (at York)
- Saturday 9 October 2010 (at Hull)

It's not possible to arrange individual informal visits to HYMS at other times.
