2nd Wolfson Palliative Care Research Conference

The Wolfson Palliative Care Research Centre conducts research to help people with life-limiting illnesses live as well as they can, and, when the time comes, give them control of symptoms and courage as they die.
The conference is to showcase our research work to our local and regional collaborators, partners and stakeholders. This conference will be of relevant to clinicians, researchers and policy makers with an interest in palliative care and palliative care research.
Keynote Speaker: Professor Julia Verne, Head of Clinical Epidemiology for Public Health England, Clinical Lead of the National End of Life Care Intelligence Network, and Consultant in Public Health Medicine
Presentations will include:

- Chronic breathlessness: what's the evidence
- Delirium recognition in palliative care patients
- Matching needs to resources in palliative care
- Improving care for older people
We invite you to attend this free event and learn about some of the exciting and leading research currently being undertaken in Hull. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 with registration and networking. The conference will start at 13:00.
