Be a visiting researcher

We welcome visits from other researchers interested in contributing to our innovative research in healthcare. You can visit for a day, several weeks, or months.

A research visit to Hull York Medical School is a great opportunity to join one of our supportive, collaborative research groups or centres.

You will be encouraged to exchange ideas, challenge ways of thinking and generate new knowledge in healthcare – and ultimately translate and implement our research to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of conditions.

Arranging a visit

Your first step to arranging a visit to Hull York Medical School as a visiting researcher is to contact the research group or centre you are interested in.

Your group or centre will discuss your request with you, and if your request is accepted, will help support you in making arrangements for your visit.
