Hull York Medical School sponsors Outstanding Health Professional award
19 July 2017
Hull York Medical School is proud to once again sponsor the Outstanding Health Professional of the Year category at the Hull Daily Mail Health and Care Awards 2017.
The annual awards, which will take place in October, celebrate the best of local health and social care provision in the Hull region. Prizes are awarded in a range of categories, including Young Carer of the Year and Unsung Hero, and representatives from the school will be there on the night to announce the Outstanding Health Professional of the Year.
Professor Una Macleod, Dean of Hull York Medical School, said: "The school is delighted to be sponsoring this award, and we are looking forward to celebrating some of the incredible achievements of this year’s nominees.
Every day, our students learn from and are inspired by the hundreds of supremely dedicated and passionate individuals who provide healthcare in Hull. This focus on delivering exceptional patient care sets a great example for our students, allowing them to become the highly skilled, compassionate doctors of tomorrow, who might one day be named Outstanding Health Professional of the Year themselves!
