I am part of the RESOLVE program team: Improving Health Status and Symptom Experience for People Living with Advanced Cancer.
I work on data collection, reporting, and analyses, as part of a major program to implement and study outcome measures in routine clinical practice among palliative care providers across Yorkshire, to improve care.
I am a Research Associate at the Wolfson Palliative Care Research Centre. I received my medical degree in 2013 from Alexandria University, Egypt, and a Master’s of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2016 from the American University of Beirut (AUB). I am passionate about biostatistics and health research methodology. I worked as a research fellow at the Clinical Research Institute at AUB from 2016 - 2019. I have advanced experience in statistical analysis using different software packages, including STATA and SPSS.
I worked for three years as a research fellow at the Clinical Research Institute at AUB working on different methodological research projects such as ‘Conflict of Interest (CoI) prevalence and verification in health research’ and ‘Impact of missing participant data on pooled effect estimates in systematic reviews.’ I contributed to systematic reviews on different health fields (Cardiology, radio-oncology, and environmental health). Also, I worked on guidelines development and adaptation for Rheumatoid arthritis.
