Biography

Rob obtained an Honours degree in Applied Biology from the University of Hertfordshire before training as a Clinical Perfusion Scientist at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition to his clinical responsibilities Rob has continued with his interest in in vitro pharmacology and was awarded a PhD in Respiratory Medicine at The University of Hull in 2015 (The Effects of Hypoxia on the Human Lung).

Rob has a lot of experience in the use of isolated human tissue preparations to study physiological and pharmacological effects on the human body.
