Main Responsibilities:
Maintenance and day-to day operations of the Hull anatomy suite.
Supporting academic staff and students in teaching sessions, exams and research projects.
Respectful care for donors to HTA standardHealth and Safety within the anatomy suite.
Curation of skeletal collection/receiving new skeletal donationsInterfacing with external organisations.
Finbar has an MSc in Anatomy and Advanced Forensic Anthropology at the University of Dundee, where his final project explored fracture patterning from sharp-blunt force trauma and a BSc in Forensic Science and Anthropology at the University of Central Lancashire, where he assessed the different methods of maceration for their use in both museums and forensic investigation. He has previously worked with skeletal remains in the UK, the US and Romania as well as in COVID-19 testing/research.
