I am an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Cardiology at Hull York Medical School, and an honorary cardiology registrar at the James Cook University Hospital.

Biography

I am an academic cardiology registrar with research interests that span epidemiology, data science and artificial intelligence. I have an intercalated degree, medical degree and PhD from the University of Leeds (BSc 2012, MBChB 2014, PhD 2025), a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University (Knox Fellowship 2017) and a degree in Computer Science from the University of London (BSc 2022).

My research focusses on improving the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Research

My research focusses on developing greater understanding of how we can better prevent and treat cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on acute myocardial infarction (heart attack).
