Biomedical research in a flume cupboard

Centre for Biomedicine

The Centre for Biomedicine brings together academics and researchers from a range of disciplines to address some of the major challenges in biomedical research and practice.

As people are living longer and in light of evolving healthcare needs such as the increased prevalence of long-term health conditions and multimorbidity, healthcare needs to evolve.

In response, in collaboration with the University of Hull, we offer a distinctive suite of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, to train the next generation of talented researchers and healthcare professionals with the skills needed to make a positive difference to patients locally and beyond.

Our programmes are informed by the latest innovation and research from the Biomedical Institute for Multimorbidity – whose collaborations with clinical researchers, the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and industry including Astra Zeneca, Reckitt, and Proctor & Gamble, mean that our degrees are at the very forefront of the field.
